SERVPRO of Port Jefferson had the opportunity to be a part of the "LIVE BURN TO LEARN" event. This event was geared towards adjusters whom also received CE credits while gaining the knowledge they need to make informed and economically sound decisions when processing a claim. We sponsored this event along with Capitol Garment Restoration, Temporary Accommodations, Contents Solutions, Unified, Mura & Storm, Vericlaim, and Nassau County Fire Service Academy. Take a look at the before and after pictures. The accelerant in this case was turpentine which is typically found in wood flooring. The fire spread within seconds and was put out in minutes. What a day!
